For associations, funders, and firms

A free 90-minute AI working session for your nonprofit members.

Hands-on from the first minute. Real emails, a real grant report, and a rule the whole room writes together. No software pitch.

What it is

A free 90-minute working session for a room of executive directors and nonprofit staff, hosted by your association, foundation, firm, or city program. Not a talk about the future of AI. Everyone brings a laptop, one real email they need to answer, and one grant report or funder update that is due, and leaves with drafts they would actually send and a one-page rule for what never goes into an AI tool.

I don't resell software and I don't take referral fees, so there is no pitch in the room. The only ask at the end is one sentence about the Working Session and where the booking link lives.

The agenda

0:00 to 0:15. What a model is and where it is wrong. One live wrong answer, so the room sees it.

0:15 to 0:30. The rule. What never goes into the tool, written together on one page: nothing about the people you serve, nothing about a donor's giving tied to a name.

0:30 to 0:50. The organization brief. Everyone writes theirs, in the room, from the free guide.

0:50 to 1:10. The inbox. Brief plus a real email, and a draft they would send. I walk the room and fix two out loud.

1:10 to 1:25. The grant report. From an aggregate summary, never a client record, to a draft in the funder's order, with every unsupported claim flagged.

1:25 to 1:30. The close. One sentence, then the booking link.

What the host provides

A room or a video link, the invitation to your list, and a projector if in person. Eight to twenty people is the right size; past twenty it stops being hands-on. I bring the guide, the one-page rule as a handout, and a follow-up email within 24 hours to every attendee with the materials and my calendar link. You get a short note afterward with what the room asked, which tells you what your members need next.

Who it is for

Associations and peer groups (AZ Impact For Good collectives, the Grant Professionals Association, executive director peer circles). Community foundations and funders who run capacity-building programming for grantees. Nonprofit-specialist CPA and accounting firms who want a client event. City and county human-services programs that host their nonprofit partners. If your room is executive directors and their staffs, it fits.

Dates

Weekdays, in the Phoenix metro in person or anywhere by video. I run one or two a month. Tell me the month you have in mind and I'll send two or three dates.
